Things I would rather be doing over homework.

Going for a lovely walk through Stanley Park and taking photos.

Buying clothes.

Cuddling.

Writing without writer’s block.

Baking cupcakes and eating them (all of them.)

Having a bubblebath.

Kissing.

Cuddling.

Reading “I Know This Much is True” by Wally Lamb.

Finally getting those photos printed.

Going for a drive with friends and singing along to the radio obnoxiously loud.

Having an adventure.

Doing anything that does not pertain to school, because my heart is not in this at the moment.

I have the whole day to myself;

And I feel like doing something creative. I’ve been writing since eight this morning, so I am forcing myself to step away from the novel and temporarily commit myself to something else. I am considering baking brownies but I’m not in the mood to actually eat them, and I want to decorate but I still haven’t bought all the finishing touches for my room, and I want to start that fashion blog that’s been at the back of my mind for about two years, but I am convinced that there isn’t much of a point to do so, seeing as though I won’t have enough time to maintain it, and no one will read it anyway.

Maybe I will just watch three episodes of Girls and eat a whole bag of cherries.

I got way too excited today when I found “yawp” in my Collins’ French/English dictionary…so excited, in fact, that I spilled tea all over my pajama bottoms.

Where on earth is my life?

Plans for the weekend:

- Get frozen yogurt with my two lovely friends

- Go on a date (for once in my life)

- Read “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” by Nick Vizzini (phenomenal book so far, to those who have yet to read it)

- Prep for Tuesday’s road test

- Endure family gathering

- Start rough draft of fiction piece

Sounds like a satisfyingly productive weekend, if you ask me.
